For the next three years, we will be guided by a single, unifying theme: Faith for the Future—Rooted in Faith. Growing in Generosity.
This theme will ground us in what matters most while also calling us forward—inviting us to deepen our faith and expand our capacity for generosity in all areas of our lives. In the months ahead, this theme will take shape in meaningful and tangible ways.
Outdoor Worship & Lunch
August 23
Faith Lutheran will celebrate a special worship service at the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater on Sunday, August 23 at 10:30. Lunch, sno-cones, and games will happen after worship. Bring lawns chairs or a blanket to sit on. Park near WDM City Hall, Library, or Learning Resource Center. Golf carts are available for people who need assistance. Faith Lutheran Church will be the rain location for this event. Invite a friend or neighbor! Click here for more information.
The 9:30 am worship service will still be held at Faith Lutheran Church. Livestream will be available for this service.
Capital Campaign 2027-2029
A core value of Faith Lutheran Church is to Live Generously. We steward the gifts God has abundantly given and entrusted to us – God’s creation, our time, abilities, and financial resources.
This campaign is an opportunity to experience God’s abundant love and to share that love in our world with all people through generous acts of service to others and sharing our financial resources to aid in God’s mission.
Strengthening Our Facilities
Support essential building equipment to ensure safe, functional, and welcoming facilities for worship, faith formation, and community use. This includes replacing old heating and air-conditioning units, new speakers in the sanctuary, and a variety of other improvements.
Reducing Mortgage Debt
Reduce long-term financial obligations through mortgage paydown and increasing financial flexibility and stability for future ministry.
Extend Generosity Beyond Our Walls
Support Lutheran Lakeside Camp, contributing to outdoor ministry opportunities for others.
Every member of Faith is invited to prayerfully consider to what extent you will financially support this campaign. You are invited to support this effort through your three-year commitment to the campaign, and/or through a one-time gift of cash, stocks or other assets. Through reflection, prayer and faithful response, we as a congregation will successfully see these projects through to completion.
Grace Groups – We invite you to join or continue in a Grace Group as we introduce new study materials, including a study titled Growing in Generosity. These groups are a wonderful way to foster community and grow together. Click here to download the Growing in Generosity Bible Study.
