Sunday Morning Education for Sixth – Twelfth Grade Students

Sixth and Seventh Grade education hour meets on Sunday mornings during the school year with sessions at 8:45 and 10:00 a.m. to discuss current topics.  The class meets in the church building in Messiah Hall rooms 201 and 202. Four times a year parents are invited to talk about faith and moral issues with their children. It is an important opportunity for youth and parents to connect on deeper issues in our busy lives and society.

Eighth and Ninth Grade education hour meets on Sunday mornings during the school year with sessions at 8:45 and 10:00 a.m. to discuss current topics.  The class meets in the church building in Messiah Hall rooms 203. Four times a year parents are invited to talk about faith and moral issues with their children. It is an important opportunity for youth and parents to connect on deeper issues in our busy lives and society.

Tenth - Twelfth Graders meet on Sunday mornings at 8:45 and 10:00 a.m. for Senior High Bible Study held in the church building in Messiah Hall room 204.  They discuss current events in conjunction with digging deeper into the Bible.

Senior High Youth Group

The Senior High Youth Group for ninth through twelfth graders meets each Wednesday night, year round, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Gathering House for fun, hangout time and Bible study. Topics include other religions, life circumstances, faith stories and sharing. Bring a friend! All are invited!

Peer Ministry Leadership

Peer ministry classes are offered each year from January through June. This six-month course offers teens an opportunity to learn how to minister to others. Session topics include: initiating a social relationship, communicating with authority figures, standing up to peer pressure, and more. Youth who are in ninth grade or above are invited to register for this class.

Service Projects

Service projects are a vital part of youth and family ministry at Faith. Service projects are present in most aspects of education. Projects are done monthly and are publicized on the bulletin board in the church entryway, the website and in Faith Weekly announcements. Each summer youth who have completed the ninth grade have an opportunity to go on a mission trip for a week. For more information on the events, click here.

Fellowship Events

Confirmation Ringers

Confirmation Ringers is for 7th through 9th Graders who want to play bells and chimes. It is a hands-on choir that will have scheduled Sundays to lead worship. Practice for this choir is every Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.

Rockin' Faith Band

Hey, do you want to play your instrument or sing some of the most important music of your life? Singers, guitarists, bass players, drums and flutes, sax and clarinets, trumpets, violins (i.e. fiddlers) and others are all a part of this new band at Faith. We will be writing worship services and leading them, arranging music, really jammin’ for Jesus! Bring your friends, your cousins, your neighbors, people in your classes—really anyone you might like to make music with for the sake of the Gospel! Rockin’ Faith Band is for tenth through twelfith Graders and meet on Wednesday nights from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.
