The Center for Renewal is a cooperative ministry of Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa, and the Southeastern Iowa Synod of the ELCA. The Center focuses on the renewal of the church on three core tasks: attending to the faith formation of our people, the quality of our life together in community, and the vitality of our worship. To address these tasks, the center promotes discussion, offers events, and provides services to inspire, encourage, and support renewal in the congregations of the Southeastern Iowa Synod and beyond.

Central Iowa Marriage Encounter is an affiliate of National Marriage Encounter. As such, its mission is to offer Marriage Encounter weekends to couples in central Iowa, hold activities that enhance marriage and family, and promote national conferences.

Peer Ministry serves all Christian denominations. Their Christian roots are grounded in a theology of the cross. Their training stems from the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10). They equip groups with relational skills for caring service to others. They mostly train adult facilitators who have the freedom to shape the training to the particular mission and values of their group.

The Heartland Youth Choir is a civic organization that serves over 150 central Iowa singers, ages 6 - 18. Faith partners with the Hearland Youth Choir to provide the facilities for its rehearsals and some performances.
