Mothers & Others is a new group for women in the Faith neighborhood.  Join us for friendship, food and fun on the first and third Fridays of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 in the Advent Room.  (Room 103)

Free childcare will be available during Mothers & Others.  For more information or to RSVP to an event, please contact Tania Schramm at tschramm@mchsi.com.  Mothers & Others is also a community outreach group, so please invite your friends and neighbors!

A Night Out For Moms and Dads

Moms and dads of young children at Faith meet socially once a month for an evening of relaxing fellowship. Check the calendar on this website, Faith Weekly or the website for more information about upcoming get togethers. Past nights out have included, a holiday cookie exchange, dinner or dessert at various restaurants, sport resturants and a movie night.

Follow the Guys Night Out group on Facebook.

Family Service Projects

Family service projects provide an opportunity for parents to provide an example for their children by helping others. Each Christmas, a service project is chosen where Faith families with young children and the entire congregation work together to provide Christmas gifts for homeless families with young children in the Interfaith Hospitality Network.

Faith's Nursery

Children are welcome at all worship services. However, there are times when Moms and Dads might wish to take advantage of the nursery downstairs for children from six weeks to through age three. The nursery is staffed with one paid worker and one volunteer during each worship service. The nursery is available during worship services on Sunday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. during the school year. The nursery is also available from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday evenings during the school year for Faith Night programming and for other special events.

Heather Besch is our Nursery Coordinator and can be contacted at heatherbesch@yahoo.com for questions or volunteering opportunities. The nursery must have two adults working together at all times so volunteers are vitally important to being a fiscally responsible church. One person must be a paid nursery staff person and the other must be at least 18 years-old. Teenagers may volunteer in the nursery as long as two adults are present.
