Children and Family Ministries At Faith
Jesus said, " Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs." Matthew 19:14-15
There's nothing more rewarding than helping young children know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. The Children's Ministries program at Faith helps children develop a basic faith belief system that enables them to follow Jesus and rely on God. Children and Family Ministry ministers to families with children ages birth through fifth grade.
Mission: To teach God’s love to children and their families in a way that is educational and biblically sound, structured, exciting, and above all creates opportunity for the Holy Spirit to move in their hearts, so that they may live, proclaim and grow in their faith.
Communication
Children and Family Ministry uses four main forms of communication with our families. We use E-news, Faith Weekly and monthly K.I.C.K. emails, and our Children and Family Ministry Facebook page. All emails, especially the Monday K.I.C.K. emails, are used to share specific grade-level or time-sensitive information that parents need to know. Be sure to always open those emails and read at least the first paragraph so you don't miss fun or important information for your child/ren. Emails are the most effective use of our resources. Paper notes cost money and tend to get lost on the way home from church. We just want to keep you informed so we get a chance to teach your awesome child about God! Melinda Littler and Libby Bouma
