Worship Services at Faith

For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”  For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

- St. Paul, First Letter to the Corinthians 11:23-26

Faith Lutheran provides two different styles of worship each weekend.  Each service is centered around the Word of God and Jesus' commandment to celebrate Holy Communion "in remembrance of me".

Our Traditions of Faith worship services utilize our Dobson tracker pipe organ and celebrate the heritage of Lutheran hymns and liturgies. This more formal service is led by an assisting minister, two pastors, and often features special music by soloists or instrumentalists.

Saturday, 5:00 PM and Sunday, 11:15 AM - Faith Today Worship with Holy Communion

The Faith Today contemporary service features a vocal ensemble leading worship accompanied by keyboards, gui- tars, and drum set. This informal service might include call and response songs and special music by the vocal en- semble or instrumentalists. Thus, we celebrate one church, one God, and one faith, all under one roof – but praising God with a variety of styles and voices. Come, taste and see the majesties of our Lord!

Each Worship service at Faith includes the reading and preaching of the Scriptures, celebrates Holy Communion and provides a warm, welcoming environment for all ages.  The two different styles provide variety to our worship lives and allow people to participate with different musical styles in the name of praising and celebrating one God.
