Jesus said, " Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs." Matthew 19:14-15
There's nothing more rewarding than helping young children know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. The Children's Ministries program at Faith helps children develop a basic faith belief system that enables them to follow Jesus and rely on God. Children and Family Ministry ministers to families with children ages birth through sixth grade.
Children and Worship
Children are integral members of the body of Christ and we welcome and encourage all ages to attend worship. Located in the Commons is a busy cart for kids to fill a bag of fun activities that can help keep little hands occupied. We also welcome children to participate in leadership roles during service such as greeters, ushers, acolytes, and communion servers.
A staffed nursery is available on the lower level Sundays from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. for children ages 6 weeks to 3-year-olds.
Here at Faith, we believe Holy Communion is for ALL baptized Christians. It is at the discretion of the parent when your child first receives this sacrament. Here you will see children as young as 2 or 3-years-old partaking in this incredible gift! Please contact us if you would like more information on how to share communion with your child.
If you wish to attend, there is a more formal communion class which takes place in the spring.
